Chandler-Gilbert's computer graphics program specializes
in 2-dimensional computer graphics. The classroom is equipped with Macintosh
G5 dual processor computers. Software applications include Adobe
Photoshop CS3, Adobe Illustrator CS3, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Dreamweaver, and Corel Painter 10. A range of
courses provide a continuum of learning experiences from the fundamentals
of computer graphics techniques to advanced problem solving. Special
attention is given to the aesthetic foundations underlying composition.
In addition to taking individual courses, students may wish to consider
earning a certificate. Two certificates are offered: 1) Digital Imaging
with an emphasis on photographic manipulation of imagery and 2) Computer
Art/Illustration with an emphasis on producing illustrations.
