Painting classes offer
students the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of painting
and progressively develop advanced skills and a mature painting
style. Several approaches are presented such as
impasto, wet on wet, wet on dry, stains and washes, and glazing. Bathed
in North light, the painting studio provides the perfect environment
for honing color skills. Ample space and an informal atmosphere are
conducive to an enjoyable and stimulating learning experience. Various
subjects include still life, landscape, the human figure, studies of
the Masters, and abstraction.
