Technology Support Services (TSS)  is the group responsible for information technology support for the college. TSS consists of functional groups who are responsible for various levels of technology support, under the leadership of  Victor Navarro,  Director of Information Technology.

Systems and Applications Group
   

Systems and Applications Group

The Systems and Applications Group are the individuals who are behind the creation and maintenance of the college application development activities.  This group provides application development, systems, network design and security, as well as web back end services.  The group consists of:

  • Mike Berry

  • Ron Slamka

 
Desktop Support Group
   

Desktop Support

The Desktop Support Group provides support for client desktop hardware, software, network voice/data connectivity, and configuration.  This is a very skilled group with many talents and areas of expertiese.

The group consists of:

Help Desk Team
   

Help Desk

The Help Desk provides quality service and support for faculty and staff with technology issues.  The Help Desk is staffed with analysts with a wide range of technical skills and abilities coupled with an emphasis on customer service.   The Help Desk team consists of:

  • Richard "Woody" Woodward

Administrative Support

Administrative Support is a coordination of technology acquisitions, service contracts, & office administration.

Rhonda Reid is the Expeditor/Assistant Buyer at CGCC.  Rhonda ensures that campus wide technology purchases are in compliance with recommended standards and researches vendors for the best price for products and services to ensure good stewardship of college budgets.

Diane Yost is the Administrataive Secretary for Technology Support Services.  She also performs the duty of Quality Assurance for the college website.
