Roles of the Strategic Planning Advisory Team
- Facilitate the development of the CGCC Strategic Plan 2007-2012.
- Support the strategic planning champions.
- Support the strategic planning initiatives by attending meetings, watching for environmental scanning information and distributing to committee members, advise on the direction of the steering team.
- Research Team to develop trend data and institutional research data for decision-making.
- Review the process and results. Assist in making adjustments to strategic planning process.
- Be available for champion positions.
- Be available for membership on the Action Planning Sub-Committee (Jan/Feb submissions action plans for the college).
Roles of the Strategic Planning Steering Team
- Participate in development of SWOT analysis and strategic recommendations to Advisory Team.
- Work team to formulate, develop, and compile formal strategic data for review and analysis.
- Formulation of draft of Strategic Plan and final draft of Strategic Plan.
- Steering group for guidance and direction of strategic planning efforts of steering team and advisory team.
Roles of the Strategic Planning Co-Chairs
- Schedule and facilitate Strategic Planning Advisory Team and Steering Team meetings.
- Assemble action plans with team participants for submission to District Office.

- Meeting dates/times
- Debriefs for each meeting
- Handouts related to meetings and strategic planning developments.
