Administration of Justice Studies

The AAS in Administration of Justice Studies (AJS) is an interdisciplinary degree designed to respond to the needs of individuals interested in pursuing careers within the criminal justice system including law enforcement, the courts, probation, parole, and corrections, as well as providing continuing education opportunities for practitioners. It is uniquely structured to offer students flexibility in selecting the coursework (certificate) most applicable to the individual's specific area of interest, while at the same time providing a broad based understanding of justice theory and its practical application. This combination of required and general education courses and a selected certificate pathway enables students to customize their degree to fulfill career and/or continuing education goals.
