Mission and Goals of SLOAC
Mission:
To promote and support assessment efforts across the college at every level, (classroom, course, division, program, institutional), for the purpose of improving teaching and learning.
Goals/Objectives:
- To create and maintain awareness of and to foster a positive attitude toward assessment at CGCC
- To ensure that the assessment plan is faculty-owned and faculty-driven
- To respond to Governing Board requests regarding assessment at CGCC
- To respond to accreditation demands, specifically HLC's self study assessment criteria
