  College Safety

MISSION

The Maricopa County Community College District Governing Board, through the College Safety Department (CSD) located on each college campus, is dedicated to providing a safe and secure environment

The mission of the College Safety Department at each college is to provide assistance and security for people on campus, protection of district and personal property, traffic control, visitor assistance, operation of a lost and found function, loss prevention and loss reporting, identification of safety hazards and training and orientation of employees and students.

Office Hours:
Monday - Sunday,  5a.m. to 11p.m.
Safety Officers on patrol 24 hours per day.



 

ASSISTANCE

The College Safety department is here to ensure your safety on campus. The College Safety department and assigned personnel provide the following services to you:

  1. Routine patrol of campus.
  2. Provide battery jump starts.
  3. Provide safety escorts to and from classrooms and parking lots upon request.
  4. Issue college identification cards and parking decals.
  5. Provide Lost and Found services for lost items.
  6. Render emergency first aid.
  7. Provide miscellaneous information and assistance.

Reporting Criminal Activity/Emergencies
  • Pecos Campus | SLEC
    • Non-Emergencies

      To report non-emergency criminal offenses or other incidents occurring on campus, please notify the College Safety Department at (480) 732-7280 or in person at the College Safety Office, M South Building

    • Emergencies

      In an emergency situation requiring police, fire or medical assistance, please dial 911 first and notify the College Safety Office immediately thereafter at (480) 732-7280.

      If reporting an emergency, please be sure to notify the operator of your location and the nature of the emergency. Emergency call boxes are located in the parking lots and are designated with emergency phone signs. These phones will connect the caller directly with the College Safety Office.

  • Williams Campus
    • Non-Emergencies

      To report non-emergency criminal offenses or other incidents occurring on campus, please notify the College Safety Department at (480) 988-8888 or in person at the College Safety Office, ATC Building

    • Emergencies

      In an emergency situation requiring police, fire or medical assistance, please dial 911 first and notify the College Safety Office immediately thereafter at (480) 988-8888.

      If reporting an emergency, please be sure to notify the operator of your location and the nature of the emergency.
