MARK J. MASON

Mark J. Mason serves as the Vice President of Administrative Services for Chandler-Gilbert Community College.

Mark has 25 years of experience in finance and administration in both the public and private sectors. Prior to joining CGCC in 2004, Mark served as the Budget Director for the Maricopa Community College District. Prior to joining the Maricopa Community Colleges, Mark spent more than a decade as a senior member of the Budget, Planning and Management Office at Arizona State University. While at ASU he had oversight for operational and capital budgeting and strategic planning, as well as significant involvement in facilities, public safety, risk management, and purchasing.

Mark has also served as the Budget Control Officer for the Arizona Department of Economic Security and as the Director of Finance and Administration for a large media firm in New York City.

Mark holds a Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Arizona State University.
