  • Food and Nutrition Information Center
    Information on food safety, dietary guidelines, reports and studies, and online resources.

  •  Hospital Compare   
    Provides information on how well the hospitals care for all their adult patients with certain medical conditions or surgical procedures. This information will help compare the quality of care hospitals provide.

  • Intelihealth.com
    Provides credible health information from trusted sources, including Harvard Medical School and Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and includes health news and content as well as access to tools and risk assessments.

    Provides families with literally thousands of accurate, up-to-date, and jargon-free health information materials developed by experts, and has separate areas for kids, teens, and parents.

    Information on diseases and conditions, healthy living, drugs, and self-care.

  • MedlinePlus
    Health news, topical features, drug information, databases, directories, and other resources. Includes extensive information from the National Institutes of Health and other trusted sources on over 700 diseases and conditions. There are also lists of hospitals and physicians, a medical encyclopedia and a medical dictionary, health information in Spanish, and links to thousands of clinical trials.

    Independent research on important issues such as health care, science and technology, national security, and public policy.

  • UNAIDS
    A United Nations project providing information and support services in the fight against acquired immuno-deficiency syndrome.

  • U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
    The United States government's principal agency for protecting the health of all Americans and providing essential human services.   • Alternative Medicine Foundation
    Provides health information articles from an alternative medical perspective under the "Resources Guides."

  • American Association of Naturopathic Physicians
    Provides health information articles on the front page and under the news tab, "Article Archives." This organization works only with physicians who have graduated from an accredited medical school.

  • Intelihealth
    Consumer health information compiled by Harvard Medical School. The complementary and alternative medicine content covers a broad range of healing philosophies, approaches, and therapies that are not taught widely in medical schools.

  • National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine
    A U.S. Department of Health and Human Services agency that conducts and supports basic and applied research and training and disseminates information on complementary and alternative medicine to practitioners and the public.
