PROPERTY CONTROL The PPC Department is responsible for reporting any location transfers/disposal of Maricopa capital assets to District Property Accounting for Chandler-Gilbert Community College. All Maricopa County Colleges must follow District Property Accounting guidelines and procedures. The PPC Department works with campus departments to assure the guidelines and procedures are being followed. The purpose of the Receiving Department is to accept and dispatch various package shipments for the campus. The Receiving Department is also responsible to perform CFS online receiving duties, affix property tags to identified college assets, and route or deliver accepted package shipments to the appropriate department consignee. CAPITAL ASSETS The PPC Department is responsible for processing documents for the acquisition of capital assets. Capital assets are furniture and equipment which have a unit cost (including tax, shipping, installation) that exceeds $1000, a useful life that exceeds 1 year, and is repairable.
