www.acls.org/appform.htm Library of Congress: The Library of Congress awards up to 10 fellowships per year to support research in its foreign-language collection. The stipend is $3,500 per month for four to nine months.
www.fellowships.aaas.org/application.html American Association for the Advancement of Science: Offers fellowships in science and technology with a focus on public policy or the intersection of science and governance. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. The stipend is $52,000.
www.humanities.sas.upenn.edu/mellonform.htm Mellon Postdoctoral Fellowship: The Penn Humanities Forum of the University of Pennsylvania offers research and teaching opportunities in all areas except curricular research and the performing arts.
www.gf.org/applic.html Forty fellowships per year are awarded, one or two of which are available to adjuncts or independent scholars. Research is planned between September and May and stipend range up to $50,000 plus $2,500 for travel expenses.
www.cies.org Fulbright Scholar Program: Every year the International Exchange of Scholars in agreement with the State Department, awards 80 scholarships to study in 140 countries. Awards cover teaching to research from two to nine months. Applications are due on August 1st of each year.

Computer Science, Engineering, and Mathematics Scholarships (CSEMS)

This grant emphasizes 2 year colleges. This program supports scholarships for low-income, academically talented students, enabling them to pursue associate, baccalaureate, or graduate level degrees in computer science, computer technology, engineering, engineering technology, or mathematics. Academic institutions apply for awards to support scholarship activities and are responsible for selecting scholarship recipients.
