The Organizational Management degree includes three components: the General Studies component that provided graduates with the breadth of knowledge necessary for a full and productive life; the Business component that meets the required management and communications requirements of most business settings; and the Customized Specialty Plan that enables graduates to choose occupational courses that meet specific job requirements. Program Description The Organizational Management program teaches the knowledge and skills needed to meet the challenges of the workplace. Students learn the fundamental principles of leadership, teamwork, communication, planning, directing, monitoring, and computer skills necessary to lead an organization to success. | Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Once students successfully complete the requirements for the Certificate (Leadership Core), they are strongly encouraged to complete the courses leading to an Associates degree in Organizational Management. The courses in the Certificate fulfill 18 credits of the AAS degree. Students will gain a broader educational experience by taking College level English, Math, Science, Humanities and Social Sciences. The additional 19 credits of occupational courses taken to fulfill the Customized Specialty Plan will serve to prepare students to meet specific job requirements. | Organizational Management
| | | Certificate of Completion (CCL) The CCL in Organizational Leadership provides students with knowledge and skills needed in today's changing workplace. The Leadership Core develops leadership and communication skills as well as techniques for planning, directing and evaluating business situations.
