Dance Auditions Students interested in participating in the spring CGCC dance concerts are required to audition Friday, January 25, 2008 in the PAC Auditorium. The auditions begin at 12:30 p.m.(noon). For more information contact Sally Jesse, 480.732.7136. There is also a required meeting for all dance scholarship students to be held on January 25 at 11:30 p.m. in the PAC Auditorium.
CGCC College Singers- large daytime choral group (approx 40-50)
under the direction of Dr. J. Edmund Hughes - auditions required.
Chamber Singers- small evening choral group (approx 25) under the direction of Rita Scholz - auditions required.
Vocal Jazz Ensemble - small daytime choral group (16 max)
under the direction of Marc Denton - auditions required.
Music Instrumental:
- Jazz Combo - small daytime performance group (5-8) under
the direction of Ted Goddard - auditions required.
- Big Band Jazz Ensemble - Jazz performance group (approx
17) under the direction of Randy Wright - auditions required.
- Community Concert Band - Large performance group (50+)
under the direction of Randy
Wright - auditions required.
- Orchestra - evening string orchestra under the direction of Gordon Andrus auditions required.
- Percussion Ensemble - evening performance group under
the direction of Josh Gottry - auditions required.
Theater:
- Acting and Theater Productions The spring theater production has not yet been announced.
