Requesting Transcripts

For official transcripts students must file a transcript request through CGCC Records. CGCC will not automatically send transcripts, nor will a university request them for the student. Remember, it is a good idea to keep a copy of your transcripts for your records.

Three ways to request transcripts from Chandler-Gilbert Community College:

  • In person: Go to the Admissions & Records office, fill out the transcript request form
  • On-line: http://my.maricopa.edu
  • By mail: Mail a written and signed request to:
    Admissions & Records
    Chandler-Gilbert Community College
    2626 East Pecos Road
    Chandler, AZ 85225-2499

    If you mail your request you must have the following written information

    • Full Name, Student ID Number (usually your SSN) & Date of Birth
    • Dates of attendance at CGCC
    • Whether you want an official or unofficial copy sent--universities want an official copy
    • Name and address of institution where the transcript needs to be sent
    Sign and date the request letter

    Don't forget to pay the $5 fee using one of the ways mentioned below

    The process for requesting transcripts from another college, university or high school is similar. Check with each institution for the specific process.

    If you are transferring from another college or university

    If you are transferring from another college or university an official transcript must be sent directly from the institution you attended. A hand-carried transcript cannot be accepted for an official evaluation. Please contact your former institution to request an official transcript be sent directly to CGCC Records Office, 2626 East Pecos Road, Chandler, AZ 85225-2499.
